Child Arrangement Orders
The law relating to Child arrangements orders was introduced in 2014 and deals with the arrangements as to with whom a child is to reside, spend time or otherwise have contact. They replace the old residence and contact orders.
There is no set rule as to how much time a child should spend with each parent. This will depend upon the child’s wishes and best interest and other circumstances of the parties involved.
